Who We Are. mShopper offers a software as a service (SaaS) Mobile Commerce Made Easy™ platform that is extremely user friendly! mShopper's mobile solution is a fast, affordable and effective way to go mobile including:
• designing a custom branded, fully functional mStore that works on all smartphones
• creating a permissioned mobile database of consumers who want to receive SMS text alerts about their products
• merchandising tools to create and present these hot deals and special offers
• promoting the mStore with powerful marketing tools to drive traffic and increase branding
• monitoring sales success through a dashboard of analytics to measure campaign performance and ROI.
Using the Mobile Commerce Made Easy platform merchants can build a custom branded mStore in less than an hour. A merchant can get started simply by uploading their product datafeed and logo. All the tools required to create, merchandise, market, measure and monitor performance of the mStore are available on the platform dashboard for use and access at any time. Additionally, merchants also get immediate distribution in mShopper's PriceCrusher mobile mall, which provides access to new mobile shoppers to extend their brand and product offering.
What You’ll Receive
• Fast paced, hands on education in mobile commerce. You will have the opportunity to work directly with merchants assisting in the creation, marketing, merchandising, monitoring of their custom mStores.
• Learn all aspects of mobile commerce and marketing including: mobile sites, mobile apps, sending SMS text alerts, merchant challenges and benefits to going mobile, digital marketing in the mobile space.
• B2B experience interacting with ecommerce merchants.
• Work with some of the best minds in mobile commerce experienced in digital commerce and mobile marketing.
What We Are Looking For
• You are technically adept as a problem solver and can wear a marketing services hat to interact with merchant clients to solve their mobile challenges. Patience and resourcefulness a virtue.
• Comfortable in entrepreneurial environment with fast paced responsiveness required.
• You own and are a dedicated user of a smart phone, ideally have shopped with it, use it like an appendage.
• You believe strongly in the future of mobile commerce and want to make a contribution to growing it
• You are comfortable in the digital marketing world and actively shop online, blog, use social media regularly, like playing around with mobile apps.
The Details
• It’s unpaid (We’re a start-up). Possibility of working yourself into a full time paid position at the end of semester.
• Duration: ASAP! You can set the hours. Ideally 20 hours/week during times when merchants on both coasts can be contacted. 3 Days week. We are flexible. Office within walking distance of CU –Boulder Campus.
