Cardinal Peak, a small, dynamic, fast-paced services company specializing in digital video and multimedia application development is seeking a Senior SW Engineer with excellent software programming skills and the ability to learn new programming environments quickly. The ideal candidate will have mobile application development experience AND/OR embedded systems experience. We’re looking for Java, XML and XSLT, HTML and Javascript (AJAX) experience. Preference will be given to candidates with Google Android, Flash, or FlashLight experience. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and accurately is key to this position.
The selected candidate will perform the following tasks:
• Quickly absorb customer requirement documents
• Create software architectural documents for customer and internal team
• Provide schedule estimates to Program Manager
• Design and implement flexible and re-targetable applications for mobile or consumer electronics devices based on customer specifications
• Create unit test plans
• Test and debug software on multiple platforms.
• Assist in supporting the customer through their qualification cycle as needed
Work will be performed at the Cardinal Peak offices in Lafayette, Colorado.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 Years of experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Excellent references a must
