We are looking for an exceptional mobile software QA lead. This is a hands-on position where you will lead by example the MapQuest mobile QA team. Successful candidates will have:

Position Description
Required
• 5+ years of software QA experience
• 3+ years of mobile software QA experience
• 3+ years lead or management experience for a team of QA engineers
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple projects with aggressive timelines
• Demonstrated ability to succeed under an Agile (Scrum) development process
• Ability to write comprehensive test plans in an Agile development environment
• Deep understanding of the handset market, mobile platforms, mobile testing environments and tools
• Experience prioritizing issues and driving bug scrubs
• Ability to participate in estimation, planning and quality risk analysis as required.
• Mentor other software engineers in automation techniques, development and general QA/Testing skills.
• Demonstrate strong QA methodology, process and experience.
• Coordinate closely with development to ensure thorough communications about quality.

• Create and implement multi-device/OS compatibility tests.
• Responsible for software testing activities including executing system, acceptance, and regression testing
• Effectively communicate any non-conformance to requirements (defects) found during testing using the internal bug tracking tool or other similar method.
