Position Summary

Our client is looking for a user experience designer with a
strong mobile background, specifically in iPhone apps. We want
someone who has a strong understanding of human factors and can
recommend and support mobile design decisions. The ideal
candidate has significant consumer mobile client and mobile web
design experience. This position will work collaboratively with
product and engineering to turn concepts into product designs.
Knowledge of user interface design tools a must. Ability to
create executable prototypes a plus. Design of a successful
mobile consumer product required. Portfolio should display a
proven knowledge of user-centered design principles.

Skills and Qualifications
• Demonstrable portfolio of highly usable high end handset
applications or mobile web experiences
• An expert eye for the little details that make or break a
great experience
• 2-4 years designing highly usable, elegant interfaces for
mobile applications
• Bachelor’s degree in either Web Design, Graphic Design,
Interaction Design, Computer Human Interaction or a related
field
• Proficient with Illustrator, Omnigraffle, Visio, Photoshop or
comparable software tools
• Strong understanding of basic UCD methodology. You should be
comfortable going out into the world for inspiration and know
how to validate your designs
• Experience creating detailed wireframes, flowcharts, and
interaction design specifications
• Ability to take initiative and collaborate
• Ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule
• Strong writing and organization skills
• Strong prototyping skills
• Strong layout skills and an experienced eye for color &
typography
