MoMoCo Members

First, I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday the 8th when mGive spends the evening talking about the impact of the Haiti earthquake on their business. This will be a very interesting and educational journey to hear about!

Second, for those of you living in Boulder who are not aware, the city of Boulder has decided to respond to the Google RFP that would bring 1 Gigabit bandwidth to every home and business user in the community. Since announcing this many organizations in the area, including Silicon Flatirons, New Tech, and many local companies have banded together in order to create the resources necessary to make it happen. There currently is a call to action for those interested to participate and you can learn more at http://boulderfiber.com/.

This opportunity could really benefit the city in multiple ways, including exposure and jobs, as Google works with the selected team to build out a sustainable and replicable business model to do this in other cities and municipalities across the U.S.

I will see everyone next week for an exciting event!

Thanks!

Jason Stout
