MoMoCo Members
Well the 5th MoMoCo meeting is behind us, and I
think you all would agree that the content continues to get even better. Even
with a national holiday on the books, we were able to get good attendance, and
great speakers. The candidness and openness of the companies presenting their challenges,
lessons learned, and viewpoints on industry opportunities were unparalleled. I
want to thank Julian Farrior, Chris Glode, and Matt Haggerty on their efforts
for last night’s event.
As I stated last night the advisory team is working hard to
put together a plan that will continue to work on making Mobile Monday Colorado
even better. We are very serious about our purpose of continuing to educate,
inspire, and create meaningful business relationships. When that plan is
complete we will definitely share it with our members. It is after all your “wants
and needs” that will continue to make the organization thrive.
You will start to see the advisory team communicate with the
membership more often starting this month, we will keep these communications
short and sweet, but in some instances may have the need for member feedback. Again,
your participation is vital to the long-term success of the organization.
Our March meeting is on March 8th and we will be hosting
the mGive folks. They will spend the evening sharing their experience over the
past several weeks as the platform behind the text messaging Haiti relief
efforts for several organizations including the American Red Cross. To date
this effort has raised over $35M dollars in relief aid to those in need, far
surpassing anything of its kind before it. They are to be applauded for their
tremendous efforts. It should be an extremely interesting journey to hear about.
Thanks!
